APLICATIONS HALOTHERAPY

Salt has a very unique property. it's atomic structure is not molecular, it's electrical.

So basic is this electrical function, that salt is one of a group of elements called "electrolytes". Sodium is positively charged and chloride is negatively charged, so they attract each other and bond tightly. Our bodies also contain other electrolytes, including potassium (+), calcium (+), magnesium (+), bicarbonate (-), phosphate (-), and (sulfate (-).

Electrolytes are essential because your cells use them to transfer liquids, nutrients, and wastes across their membranes and to carry electrical impulses through nerves and muscles to communicate with other cells.

Aerosols of dry rock salt have a significant negative ionic charge , while the surface of the airways has a positive minimum load , so fixing these particles is much more stable on the bronchial mucosa ( moist membrane contacts the exterior) , getting clear the airway .

a. Respiratory diseases

The microscopic particles of salt in the atmosphere of the treatment room are able to penetrate deep into the lungs, reducing inflammation and helping to clear out mucus blocking the airways. The salt kills bacteria in the respiratory tract and makes it difficult for any new bacteria to recolonise. It also acts to thin and break down mucus build-up and improves the mechanical removal of mucus.

Halotherapy, or Dry Salt Therapy is known worldwide as natural, drug-free and safe complimentary treatment beneficial to those that suffer from respiratory illness such as:

Asthma
Bronchial asthma
Cystic Fibrosis
Sinusitis
Bronchiectasis
Chronic Bronchitis
Coughs, colds and flu
Cough (particularly at night or after exercise)
Smokers’ cough (including secondary smoke)
Rhinitis
Sore throat
Pharyngitis
Adenoiditis
Pneumonía
Tonsillitis
Frequent acute disorders of respiratory tract
Respiratory infections
Allergies and respiratory allergies
Allergies to industrial and household pollutants
Snoring
Ear infection

b. Dermatology diseases

The micro-fine salt particles deposited on the skin act to reduce inflammation and bacterial growth. The salt works as a gentle exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and stimulating skin regeneration. The antihistamine properties of the salt reduce allergic reactions within the skin and so minimise or even eliminate any allergic outbreak. The salt to skin contact through an osmotic effect, moisturizes the skin naturally.

Dermatitis
Acné
Psoriasis
Eczemas
Moisturizes the skin
Multi-chemical sensitivity syndrome
Wound healing
Postoperative rehabilitation and recovery (aesthetic & sinus surgery)

c. Nervous system diseases

Reduces stress by rebalancing the cells with negative ions
Fatigue

d. Salt Therapy for Sports' Performance and Enhancement

The primary goal of every athlete is to achieve their absolute, maximum potential. One of the most important determinants of whether this is possible is an optimum breathing pattern and lung capacity. Halotherapy for Sports can help you achieve your best performance, to get that edge over the competition by improving and increasing lung function, capacity and stamina.
